Friedburg, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Braunau, alt. 
530 m, situated in the Kobernausser Wald hills in the southern 
Innviertel region, cadastral district of the municipality of Lengau. - 
Parish church of St. Sebastian (1867-1869), Rococo altar dating from 
1770; Baroque presbytery (1676-1679) by J. Vilzkotter. Late Baroque 
pilgrimage church in Heiligenstadt (with Gothic core) with rich stucco 
by J. M. Vierthaler and frescoes by A. Mueller (1731), Baroque 
interior with individual late Gothic sculptures.
