b. Vienna, March 31, 1889, 
d. Waidhofen a. d. Thaya (Lower Austria), July 20, 1963, author and 
pacifist, secretary of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, expert in 
transit trade. One of the founding members of the Austrian League of 
the League of Nations and participated in reestablishing the Austrian 
Peace Society (Friedensgesellschaft) and the Austrian League for the 
United Nations. In his later years wrote feuilletons about life in 
pre-World War I Vienna.
