Fritzbach, River, province of Salzburg; eastern tributary of the 
Salzach River. The Fritzbach originates south of Bischofsmuetze 
mountain (alt. 2,018 m), flows from east to west past Huettau mountain 
(alt. 697 m) and Poeham mountain (alt. 610 m) and joins the Salzach 
north of Bischofshofen mountain (alt. 549 m). The mean rate of volume 
amounts to 4.4 m%%sup 3/%/sec at Kreuzbergmauth.
