Fuchs, Theodor, b.&nbsp;Pre&#353;ov; Eperjes, Slovakia (then Pre<!SZ<!-hatschek>sov), Sept. 15, 1842, 
d. Steinach am Brenner (Tyrol), Oct. 5, 1925, palaeontologist, 
geologist. At first worked for the Court Cabinet of Minerals. After 
completion of the Museum of Natural History participated considerably 
in establishing the geological-palaeontological department and in 
rearranging the different collections. Conducted research into 
Tertiary sediments of the Mediterranean area and the Vienna basin.
