b. Hallein (Salzburg), March 25, 1927, (film) actor and politician 
(Green Party). Has acted on stages in Vienna for many years and has 
become known as the villain in more than 150 cinema and television 
films. Roles in productions by W. Herzog, F. Antel and E. Marischka 
etc. Became a member of the municipal council of Salzburg in 1977 on 
the Buergerliste ticket. As a representative of The Green Alternative 
party he was a member of the Nationalrat from 1986-1988 and from 
1989-1990.
