Goesting, 13%%sup th/%  district of Graz, extensive medieval castle, 
ruins of a 17%%sup th/%  century gunpowder magazine, burned down 
in1723, chapel (roofed over in 1969); to the west, "Obere Burg" (high 
castle); to the east of the castle hill, Baroque palace built 
1724-1728 for Count Attems, frescoes (1730-1735).
