Goetschenberg, 1.5 km to the south of Bischofshofen. Copper mining and 
processing as early as 400 B.C. Goetschenberg is the oldest settlement 
in the Bischofshofen- Muehlbach region where copper was mined and used 
for the production of ornaments, fibulae, sheet metal and small flat 
hatchets.
