Gailitz Valley, Carinthia, named after the River Gailitz, southern 
lateral valley of the Gail valley. It starts at Fusine in 
Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Italy) and separates the Carnic Alps to the 
west from the Karawanken mountains. Roads and railways lead through 
the valley to Italy.
