singer; husband of Wilma  Lipp. Secretary General of the Gesellschaft 
der Musikfreunde in Wien (Society of the Friends of Music in Vienna), 
president of the Young Musicians of Austria ("Musikalische Jugend 
Oesterreichs") and of the international federation of the "Jeunesses 
Musicales", director of the Vienna  State Opera from 1972-1976.
