Ganahl, Johann Josef, b. Tschagguns (Vorarlberg), Nov. 12, 
1770, d. Tschagguns, Sept. 26, 1843, textiles manufacturer. Son 
of a farmer; founded a company dealing in cotton in 1797. Amalgamated 
his company with the Bludenz-based company Getzner, Mutter & Cie and 
the St. Gallen-based company C. Daller & Fels in 1820.
