!!!Gargellen

Gargellen, Vorarlberg, village in the district of Bludenz, alt. 
1,423 m, climatic health resort situated on the Suggadinbach 
stream in Gargellental valley in the central Montafon valley; belongs 
to the municipality of St. Gallenkirch. Tourism; church of St. Maria 
Magdalena (founded 1615) with tower from 1793, old "Montafoner 
Maisaesse" (traditional pasture for stopovers when driving cattle to 
the alpine pastures), farmers´ houses (some from the 
18%%sup th/%  century): Paarhoefe (usually arranged around two inner 
courts) and Einhoefe (one multi-purpose building) farmsteads, 
northeast of G. waterfall.
