b. Vienna, April 18, 1897,
d. Vienna, April 4, 1970, typesetter, sports functionary. From
1926-1934 and from 1945-1962 federal secretary of the ASKOe (Working
Group for Sport and Physical Training in Austria); played a leading
role in organising the second Worker's Olympics in Vienna in 1931 and
big ASKOe sporting events after 1945; functionary in international
workers' sports associations, victim of political persecution at the
time of the corporative state and during the NS regime.
