Gebuehr (charge/fee) under Austrian law: payment for the use of public 
services, such as the stamp tax collected by administrative 
authorities, legal costs or court fees, as defined by the relevant 
laws ("Gebuehrengesetz" 1957 and "Gerichts- und 
Justizverwaltungsgebuehrengesetz" 1962). Further examples of Gebuehren 
are remuneration payments, again defined by law, for the services of 
experts or interpreters who act for authorities.
