Gemeindealpe Mountain, Lower Austria, alt. 1,626 m, part of the 
Lower Austrian limestone range, rises above Lake Erlaufsee and the 
Oetschergraben rift-valley, which separates the G. mountain from the 
Oetscher mountain; double-chair lift leading from Mitterbach to 
Hochmitterbach (mid-station). Mountain refuge "Terzer Haus"; skiing 
area, popular destination for day-trips starting from Mariazell; karst 
caves (Mueckenschaft, Gamsluckn), radio transmitters.
