Geroe, Heinz, b. Baden (Lower Austria), Sept. 7, 1922, 
d. Vienna, July 6, 1989, lawyer, sports functionary, son of Josef  
Geroe. Began as a hockey player, 1980-1889 president of the Austrian 
Hockey Association, 1970-1975 president of the Austrian Football 
Association, several times vice president of the Union of European 
Football Associations UEFA, served on the Austrian Olympic Committee 
and in the Austrian Federal Sports Organisation.
