Soft-drink Industry produces mineral water and soft drinks, with a 
maximum of 5 ml alcohol/litre. Soft-drink consummation in Austria is 
on the increase (6,704,000 hectolitres were sold in 1993). 40% of 
overall soft-drink production are caffeine-based drinks.
