Giger, Anton, b. Salzburg, March 15, 1963, skiing trainer. 
Since 1989 trainer for the Austrian Skiing Association; since 1999 
racing manager for the men´s team. Because he organised the 
highly successful giant slalom/super-G group, with such skiers as H.  
Maier and S.  Eberharter, he ranks alongside H.  Pum as being largely 
responsible for Austria´s "winning streak" in 
international competitive skiing since 1996.
