Glaser, Julius, b.  Postoloprty, Czech Republic (then 
Postelberg), March 19, 1831, d. Vienna, Dec. 26, 1885, law 
scholar. Professor at the University of Vienna; from 1871-1879 
Minister of Justice, established the code of criminal procedure and 
the modern study of criminal proceedings.
