Glave-Kolbielski, Karl, b. Szczecin, Poland (then Stettin), Aug. 4, 1752, 
d. Budapest (Hungary), Aug. 14, 1831, agent, factory owner and 
financial adviser. After dubious transactions and activity as a spy 
G.-K. illegally brought plans and parts of spinning machines from 
England to Austria; various functions including that of financial 
adviser to Archduke Karl and Duke Stadion. Active as a spy during the 
occupation of Vienna by the French in 1809, from 1810-1831 prisoner of 
the state.
