d. Vienna, June 21, 1928, actor, singer. From 1900 ( supported by 
A.  Girardi) at the Vienna Carltheater and 1904 at the Theater an der 
Wien; in 1907 principal director of the Karczag-Buehnen (Theater an 
der Wien and Raimundtheater); guest performances in St. Petersburg, 
Germany, Paris and Moscow; archetypal Viennese roles.
