Gottsleben, Ludwig, b. Vienna, Nov. 24, 1836, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 26, 1911, playwright, actor. Wrote various plays 
from 1856; in 1859 debut at the Theater an der Wien, the last notable 
actor of slapstick comedy at various theatres in the suburbs of 
Vienna.
