Grancy, Christine de, b. Brno (Czech Republic), May 18, 
1942, photographer. Has worked as a photographer since 1965. From 1983 
numerous sojourns in the West Sahara, where she documented the life of 
the Polisario freedom fighters in photographs (anthology: 
"Saharouis - Soehne und Toechter der Winde", 1987). She also 
produced a photographic documentation of the North African Tuareg 
(2000).
