d. Wilten (Tyrol), Oct. 27, 1751, painter of the baroque period. 
Studied in Italy, from 1721-1723 court painter of the Fuerstenberg 
family in Donaueschingen, worked in Innsbruck from 1724.

altar paintings: Innsbruck, Wilten, Schwaz, Neustift (all in 
Tyrol); Bruneck (South Tyrol); Ebensee, Obertraun (both in Upper 
Austria); Maria Luggau (Carinthia). - portraits, landscapes.
