Gross Sankt Florian, Styria, market town in the district of 
Deutschlandsberg, alt. 317 m, pop. 2,891, area 
25.87 km%%sup 2/%, in the Lassnitztal valley, in the hilly area 
of western Styria. - Production of clothing and gambling machines, 
construction of cranes and agricultural machinery, large-scale winery, 
slaughterhouse, wood processing. - Parish church with Late Romanesque 
core and Gothic reticulated vault and side aisles (1711/1712); column 
dedicated to the Virgin Mary (around 1737).
