Grogger, Paula, b. Oeblarn (Styria), July 12, 1892, 
d. Oeblarn (Styria), Jan. 1, 1984, author of short stories about the 
life of Catholic peasants, is often compared to the Styrian writer 
Rosegger. Breakthrough in 1926 with the novel "Das Grimmingtor". After 
1945 autobiographical works about her childhood and life as author.
