d. Vienna, May 20, 1920, archaeologist, colonel, deputy head of 
the Department of Cartography at the Institute of Military Geography 
in Vienna. Technical director of the Limes exploration  Limes); headed 
excavations in  Carnuntum and  Lauriacum.
