Gross, Gustav, b. Liberec, Czech Republic (then Reichenberg), June 12, 1856, 
d. Vienna, Feb. 23, 1935, politician, national economist, from 
1911-1917 head of the German National Federation; in 1917/18 last 
president of the Reichsrat; for many years head of the German School 
Association; one of the spokesmen of the German nationalist movement 
in Austria.
