Land Acquisition Tax (in Austrian Law. Grunderwerbssteuer), transfer 
tax on the acquisition of domestic real property, amounting to 
3.5 % (2 % if purchase is made between spouses, parents or 
children) of the purchase price; formally a federal tax, although 96 % 
of the money goes to the municipalities.
