Gumpp, Christoph, b. Innsbruck (Tyrol), May 28, 1600, 
d. Innsbruck (Tyrol), March 2, 1672, master builder, father of Johann 
Martin  Gumpp. From 1633 Court Architect in Innsbruck, studied the 
architecture of theatres in Italy.

Innsbruck: former Court Theatre "Dogana", 1629; 
Mariahilferkirche church, 1647-1649; Stiftskirche Wilten church, 
1651-1665.
