!!!Höhlenbär

Cave Bear: skeletons of early types of bears, mainly of cave bears, 
have been found in large numbers in the  Drachenhoehle near Mixnitz 
and in many other caves in Central Europe. In the early Pleistocene 
(1.5 million years ago) the bears divided into brown bears and 
cave bears, who gradually became exclusively herbivorous. The cave 
bear was considerable larger than today´s brown bear.
