b. Vienna, Oct. 13, 1938, actress: daughter of Attila  Hoerbiger and 
Paula  Wessely, sister of Maresa  Hoerbiger and Elisabeth  Orth. First 
film role at the age of 16; 1957 debut as theatre actress at the 
Burgtheater in Vienna, from 1967 engagement at the Zurich 
Schauspielhaus. Guest performances at the Salzburg Festival 
(Buhlschaft in "Jedermann"), at the Munich Kammerspiele, at the 
Theater in der Josefstadt and at the Volksoper in Vienna. Leading 
roles in films and TV series ("Das Erbe der Guldenburgs","Julia, eine 
ungewoehnliche Frau"). 1991 returned to Vienna. 1994 awarded the 87th 
Federal Film Prize.
