H., customs office and customs authority department, Leiblachtalsaal hall (communication centre and venue of various events), girls´ boarding school of the Berufsschule fuer Gastgewerbe (hotel and catering vocational school). 1,585 employed persons (1991) of which about 55 % in the manufacturing industry: sports equipment (tennis rackets, golf clubs), starch factory, machine and plant manufacturing, textile finishing, plastics industry, dairy, wide range of businesses. Trade (gaskets), international forwarding agents, transport industry, summer tourism (25,825 overnight stays).
