Kartograph, General und Chemiker
\\
1916-18 Kommandant des Militärgeographischen Instituts. War führend auf dem Gebiet der wissenschaftlichen Fotografie, der Reproduktionstechnik und der Photogrammmetrie. Führte 1909 den Offsetdruck ein und organisierte die Kartographie in Brasilien (1920-24) und Ungarn.
