Huelgerth, Ludwig, b. Vienna, Jan. 26, 1875, d. Rottenstein 
(Carinthia), Aug. 13, 1939, field marshal lieutenant and politician. 
1918 commander in chief of Carinthia, in 1918/19 leader of home 
defence force of Carinthia, the  Carinthian Resistant Movement; 
1934-1936 head of the provincial government of Carinthia, 1936 
commander of the militia "Frontmiliz", 1936-1938 vice-chancellor in 
the Schuschnigg government.
