From 1990 advertising copywriter in Vienna. His first detective novel "Auferstehung der Toten" was published in 1996; his novel "Komm, suesser Tod" (1998), winner of the Deutscher Krimipreis (German detective novel prize) in 1999, was filmed in 2000 with J.
