Haid, Liane, b. Vienna, Aug. 16, 1895, 
d. Bern (Switzerland), Nov. 28, 2000, film actress. Children´s 
solo parts at the Vienna court opera ballet, dancer in Vienna and 
Budapest, was then discovered for the Vienna Art Film Society (18 
parts within 3 years). From 1921 one of the most famous stars, 
especially in German silent films; sound-films and guest performances 
in theatres in Austria and Germany.
