Party, SPOe). 1962-1972 central secretary of the trade union of 
agricultural and forestry workers; 1975-1983 member of the 
Nationalrat, 1974-1976 state secretary in the Federal Ministry of 
Agriculture and Forestry, 1976-1986 federal minister of agriculture 
and forestry.
