Hainfeld, Styria, district of Feldbach, municipality of Leitersdorf; 
name of largest moated castle in Styria (first documented mention 
1275), 2-storey Renaissance building with 4 wings, arcaded courtyard, 
4 square towers, stucco ceilings from the 17%%sup th/%  century, 
library, Laudon room with battle scenes (1762), castle church (1773). 
Hainfeld Castle was owned by J. v.  Hammer-Purgstall; his estate 
inheritance is kept there. Close to Bertholdstein Castle (now 
Benedictine abbey).
