b. Vienna, April 1, 1863, 
d. Berndorf (Lower Austria), Nov. 20, 1951, compositor, worked for 
"Arbeitersport" (labourers´ sports association), 1895 co-founder 
of the tourism association  Naturfreunde, from 1912 he worked 
primarily as secretary of the association; 1897-1934 editor of 
"Naturfreund", he was vice president of the central committee of 
"Naturfreunde Internationale" and until 1934 also of the "Arbeiterbund 
fuer Sport und Koerperkultur in Oesterreich", a workers´ 
association for sport and physical education in Austria ( ASKOe). 
"L.-H.-Siedlung" in the 12th district of Vienna is named after him.
