Catholic priest and theologian, brother Nikolaus  Harnoncourt. 1963-72 
Professor and head of the Department of Church Music of the University 
of Music, Graz, 1972 habilitated in liturgical studies, 1972-1998 head 
of the Department of Liturgical Studies, Christian Art and Hymnology 
at the University of Graz.
