Hausleiten, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Korneuburg, 
alt. 180 m, pop. 2,579, area 61.04 km%%sup 2/%, in the 
Tullnerfeld region, west of Stockerau at the foot of the Wagram 
terrace. - Asphalt mixing plant, mill, commercial enterprises. - 
Gothic parish church (13%%sup th/%  - 14%%sup th/%  centuries) 
with Baroque alterations to choir and south tower, high altar (1779), 
ceiling frescoes (1785) and 2 altarpieces (1779, 1787) by 
M. J. Schmidt, St. Aloysius chapel (around 1770) with rococo 
interior; parsonage (1774); former castle (1839); column dedicated to 
the Virgin Mary (1742).
