b. Vienna, Jan. 13, 1875, 
d. Vienna, May 27, 1948, established a religious order; at first a 
welfare worker, in 1919 together with a pastor from Vienna, Karl 
Handloss, founded the   Sisters of St. Agnes; published "Liliengarten" 
as the mouthpiece of the order.
