b. Vienna, Oct. 14, 1876, 
d. Vienna, July 7, 1953, entomologist. Originally employed at the Post 
Office Savings Bank, but also a significant collector of flowers, 
butterflies and beetles. Editor of "Koleopterologische Rundschau" and 
"Wiener Entomologische Zeitung" (with E. Reitter), wrote numerous 
scientific articles.
