!!!Heinrich III

Heinrich III, 
d. Dec. 4, 1122, from 1090 Duke of Carinthia, 1090, last duke of the 
House of  Eppenstein. Was governor of Aquileia; during the investiture 
conflicts supported Heinrich IV until 1105 and then sided with 
Heinrich V. Between 1096 and 1103 H. founded the monastery  Sankt 
Lambrecht, which he equipped generously. He bequeathed his allodial 
estates to Heinrich of Sponheim (as Duke of Carinthia, Heinrich IV) 
and to the Margrave Leopold I of Styria.
