Heinrich von dem Tuerlin, Middle High German poet of the 13th century; 
worked in Austria and Bavaria. His name is mentioned in documents in 
Carinthia (St. Veit an der Glan) and East Tyrol (Lienz)."Diu Crone", 
an extensive Gawain novel in 30,000 rhyming couplets has been 
preserved complete only in the Heidelberg Codex 347. The work "Der 
Mantel", fragments of which are to be found in the Ambraser Heldenbuch 
is probably not by H.
