b. Sázava, Czech Republic (then Sazau), Nov. 14, 1857, 
d. Vienna, Sept. 7, 1937, in 1890 together with his brother Wilhelm H. 
he founded a chocolate and confectionery factory in Vienna, which soon 
gained great importance. 1983 the factory was transferred to 
Gloggnitz.
