b. Vienna, July 27, 1863, 
d. Vienna, July 11, 1918, scientist, graphic-reproduction artist and 
amateur photographer. Studied physics, chemistry, astronomy and 
mathematics in Vienna and Jena, from 1887 interested in photography 
and recorded many journeys abroad (USA, Egypt, Greece, Italy, 
Holland). His three-coloured gum bichromate prints were exhibited in 
the Vienna Secession in 1902. After 1910 specialised in landscape 
photography. Collaborated with H.  Kuehn and H.  Watzek ("Trifolium").
