b. Heves (Hungary), Dec. 20, 1842, 
d. Vienna (suicide), Feb. 27, 1910, author and journalist. From 1875 
cultural reporter on the Viennese magazine "Fremden-Blatt", art critic 
and chronicler during the era of Franz Josef, specializing in the 
Vienna Secession; wrote many critical and humorous articles on 
contemporary art for various journals, also wrote approx. 20 
paperbacks on travel.
