d. Wolfpassing (Lower Austria), Dec. 9, 1994, actor, compère, 
revue artist. Debut at the Theater an der Wien, other engagements in 
Innsbruck, Graz, Zurich and Berne; 1939-1945 operetta buffo and 
director at the Linz Landestheater; after World War II founded the 
revue theatre "Eulenspiegel" in Linz; 1972-1983 member of the Vienna 
Volkstheater; work on radio (compère in satirical revues, e.g. 
with M.  Boehm).
