Studied architecture at Vienna University of Technology. 1883 assistant to the professor of construction and architecture, 1886 diploma in construction. From 1897 professor of General Construction Engineering and a practising architect. Mainly school buildings (Penzing, Oberdoebling, Hainburg, Trento, Mistelbach, etc.). From 1889 worked in his father's studio (Moriz H., 1831-1909); town hall buildings in Waehring and Neunkirchen, local authority offices in Lilienfeld and Zwettl.
